Music Director Jeff is a native Tennessean, raised in the small town of Watauga in nearby Carter County. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Milligan College and is the evening and night shift supervisor for the laboratory at the Mountain Home VA Medical Center. While at Milligan he studied organ under Dr. David Runner. Jeff has been involved in church music since his teen years, serving as pianist, organist, choir member, and choir director for several congregations. He has been the Director of Music at GCPC since August 2014. Jeff has a long-time interest in early American shaped note hymnody and hosts a gathering of regional singers monthly in the Community Room. Jeff and his wife, Cheryl, have a son, Wyatt, a daughter, Cleo.
