Feeding the Community, Body and Soul

We strive to provide the highest level of care for your newborn, infant or toddler while you are with us in this place.  Our nursery care is provided during Sunday morning worship and Sunday School, as well as various other church events throughout the year.  We appreciate your willingness to share your greatest treasure with us and we want you to know that we hold ourselves to the same high standard you've set for yourselves as parents.
Our three main points of emphasis in our nursery are safety, nurture and development.
Your child's safety is our number 1 concern.  The safety measures we take are never meant to cause undue stress to parents or children, so we hope you will join us in understanding our desire to take every precaution in keeping your child as safe as possible.
       Security System
Our nursery is protected with a top-of-the-line security system that allows our staff to monitor and control each time the nursery door is opened.  This provides our staff the opportunity to focus on the children in the room with peace of mind that no one is entering the space.  Pressing the button in the hallway activates the camera and intercom system so our staff can verify who is entering.
       Parent Pagers
Each parent is assigned a pager when your children are dropped off in the nursery.  This allows our nursery staff to contact parents and request their presence, should special circumstances arise.
       Staff Training
Our staff are CPR Certified and college educated in Early Childhood Development.  You can trust that your children are in good hands with our nursery staff.  Learn more about our staff.
Safety is our number 1 concern, but we will not allow our precautions to alarm your children.  Our second point of emphasis that goes hand-in-hand with safety is nurture.  We want your children to feel right at home in this place, so much that they look forward to coming back the next week.  We have 2 exceptional nursery workers on staff, with 2 qualified and trained volunteers on standby each week.  Our space is divided to accommodate the most appropriate care in separate areas for toddlers and infants/newborns.
To provide the best possible personal care for your child, you will be asked to complete an Information Form upon drop-off.  This form helps our staff understand the special treatment your child will need.  In return, our staff will complete the corresponding side on the form to give you a glimpse of the care your child received in our nursery.  You may choose to print and complete your portion of the form before you arrive.
Finally, our third point of emphasis is in helping your child develop socially, physically and spiritually.  We will encourage good manners and kindness as we play.  We will facilitate various activities that encourage use of motor skills.  We will also use various resources to help children understand God's love for them.
