We are engaged in local, national and global missions & outreach
National and Global:
Through Our United Outreach, we support missions at home and abroad. Home missions include the Cumberland Presbyterian Children's Home, Choctaw Reservation in Oklahoma and new church development. World mission fields include Colombia, Liberia and Hong Kong. We also support endowments to Bethel College, Memphis Theological Seminary and the Cumberland Presbyterian Board of Missions.
We serve those in need by supporting local organizations. These include: Greeneville-Greene County Community Ministries; Habitat for Humanity; Pastor's Discretionary Fund, and Camp John Speer.
Our church provides meeting facilities to the following community organizations:
Al-Anon, Alcoholics Anonymous, Cancer Support Group, MS Support Group, Girl Scout Troops, Kiwanis Club, Greene County Retired Teacher Association, Youth Builders, Exchange Club, Smokey Mountain Music Teachers Association, Greene County Christian Women, and others as the need arises.
Christian stewardship acknowledges that all of life and creation is a trust from God, to be used for God's glory and service. The motive for Christian stewardship is gratitude for God's abundant love and mercy. All believers are responsible to God and to the covenant community for their stewardship.
