Feeding the Community, Body and Soul

Senior Ministry

Our Senior Ministry program is aimed at those 55 years and older, whether or not you attend this Church.  This Church is God's house, a place for everyone.  We provide an array of activities, services, and outreach for the Young-at-Heart adults in our greater Greeneville community.  We believe that an active lifestyle and social contact are important and healthy parts of aging.  You are welcome to join us for any of the activities!

Some of our regular activities include monthly luncheons out, a walking group, Canasta group, Bridge parties and other social activities.   We have a Chrismon ministry, in which we repair the older ornaments and make new ones.

Do you like to read?  Join us for our monthly Book Club!

We also have a Prayer Shawl group that makes prayer shawls for members, families and close friends who are in need of "a hug" for any number of reasons.  This is also an opportunity for YOU to learn how to knit or crochet!  Don't be shy -- you might be surprised who is just learning!

For this month's highlights and activities please see the Cannonball Courier.   For this month's calendar, please see the Cannonball Courier, page 2.
Won't you come join us real soon?
